Easy Peasy Stylish Crochet Vest Pattern

Easy Peasy Stylish Crochet Vest Pattern Hello Everyone! I hope that you had a wonderful CHRISTmas! I know I did. I ate way to much but I already knew that was going to happen! The holidays just wouldn't be the same if my clothes fit right afterwards!  In the spirit of the holidays I thought it was a perfect time to offer a new free pattern and something for us to make for ourselves after making something for everyone else & plus it is good to cover up where your clothes may not fit like they did before the holidays!  close up of the front close up of back full view of the front   I made this with Lionbrand Homespun yarn in Gemstone and an L (8mm) hook. Gauge is not really important in this pattern because you are making it to custom fit you. One of the beauties of this pattern is it is made in one piece and you can hold it up to you and try it on are you are making it to make sure it fits! It is so warm and cozy you will want one in every...

Chunky Crochet infinity Scarf Pattern

Hello fellow Diy'ers, crocheters, sewers, and all other "cool" people... As usual, as the weather gets color and gift giving season is upon us, my mind is spinning with a million different things that I want to make next. I have so many half way finished projects that it is pitiful... Surely none of you have this same problem... Do you??? Come on.. please let me know I am not the only one.. But anyway.. I recently had someone ask me if I could make an infinity scarf. My immediate response was "sure"! Then I had to ask her a hundred questions like do you want a wide scarf, a chunky scarf,  etc. etc... Well in the end after talking about many different options. I come up with a design that I absolutely LOVE!! It works up really quickly and is super duper soft! You can't get any better than that! I love it so much that I may actually have to take the time to make myself one. Yep that's right I may make something for myself! I always intend to make som...

Sharpie Monogrammed Burlap table Runner

Ok, I must admit I have joined in on the obsession of Burlap. Everyone seems to be using it for everything these days. So I went shopping on Ebay and found a large roll of burlap. After all what sense would it make to buy a small piece to try before you buy the whole roll... Right?? Anyway... I bought a whole roll and just knew that I was gonna make tons of things with it... Well about 6 months later I have made two garden flags and one table runner... but I am sure I will EVENTUALLY use it all.. One Day... . Today I am gonna tell you how super duper easy it was to make a Burlap table runner. I only used a pair of scissors, a sharpie, an "R" stencil, and a piece of Burlap cut to the length to fit my table.  See, I told you that was one big roll of burlap...  Anyway, first I unrolled a piece along my table to get it the size I needed it. I cut it and then used my stencil & sharpie to monogram & personalize it.  tracing the initial with a black sharpie ...

Best Ever Crochet Hat/Beanie Pattern!!

After many request for a hat pattern I decided to come up with my "favorite" which is a combination or patterns I have used over the years and taken my favorite parts from to make "the best ever crochet hat pattern"!! With every pattern I ever tried it seemed that each hat was to short, too long, too big, to small... blah blah blah... For years I have been making beanie hats and adding faces to them and such for gifts, photo props, and everything in-between. After spending money on many patterns and much trial and error I finally came up with the perfect pattern. I have been making it from memory forever, it seems like, but I figured with so many request I should try to put it on paper and share it with everyone. So here goes... I will start with a toddler /small child size since that seems to be the most popular.  With this pattern I used an "I" hook and Worsted Weight yarn. Hobby Lobby's "I Love this Yarn" and Redheart's "With...
